Fly: Arm Balances and Inversions – Saturday July 29 11 am – 1 pm –  Arm Balances are invigorating and challenging. In this session, participants will learn key concepts and postures that are inhibitors and gateways to greater strength and height in arm balances.

Yoga for Runners – Designed to stretch, strengthen and renew, this workshop is typically 2 hours in length but can be customized for your needs. Involves specific awareness and attention to tight, over-worked areas of runners’ bodies. Contact us to schedule.

Yoga for Athletes – Designed to balance key areas that get neglected in day-to-day activities and sports. This workshop is designed to stretch and strengthen, and  is typically 2 hours in length but can be customized for your needs. Provides awareness and attention to tight, over-worked areas of any athletic body. Contact us to schedule.

Yin Yoga for Athletes – This workshop will allow participants to chill, relax and hold yoga postures for several minutes at a time to target the deeper connective tissue of the body. Particularly effective for chronic stress and injuries. This workshop is typically 2 hours in length but can be customized for your needs. Involves the use of many props such as blankets and blocks.  Contact us to schedule.

Go Upside Down – Inversions are fun, rejuvenating and powerful ways to express yourself and learn to go deeper into your practice. In this session, participants will learn key concepts and postures that are inhibitors and gateways to greater strength and stability in inversions in order to avoid injury. This workshop is typically 2 hours in length but can be customized for your needs. Contact us to schedule.

Self Care Workshop –

“Self care” includes any intentional action you take to care for your physical, mental and emotional health. Finding the time for self care is often a challenge for many people, but it is important to make your self-care a priority. Since self care is unique to each individual this educational and experiential workshop brings together yoga, mindfulness, and other techniques for you to learn new ways to reduce anxiety, stress, enhance self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-acceptance.

This workshop includes:

  • Journaling & hands-on exercises
  • Practicing yoga postures with a purpose – asana as tools
  • Clear instructions to guide you in the practice of mindfulness and meditation
  • Application to anxiety, stress, depression, and substance abuse
  • Creation of a take-home action plan to implement self care strategies
