Like many students, David came to this yoga practice seeking physical fitness. His first practices were in 2011 as part of a new exercise routine. In 2014, David began to take a deeper interest in yoga and practicing on a regular basis. The physical practice was challenging and helped him to feel stronger. But, there was something else happening which he didn’t understand. He ‘magically’ felt better after his practice. When he was tired it gave him energy, when he was stressed it calmed him, when he was regretful it gave him acceptance. David decided that he wanted to better understand how yoga was helping him and explore opportunities to share this experience with others by enrolling in a 2016 yoga teacher training program. David completed his 200 hour
yoga teacher training in September 2016.
Beyond yoga, David enjoys traveling around the world, exploring new restaurants and enjoying good food, and spending time with his fiancée, family and pets.
